Why Bible-Believing Christians Feel the Rapture of the Church is Very Near

For anyone who studies Bible prophecy, understands the timeline of the Bible as well as the appointed times of which certain prophecies are to take place, it is very clear to the believer that that we are in the “Last Days” of the Church Age as God is about to bring about seven years of Tribulation to the earth for the salvation of his beloved Jewish people, and to all who will accept him. But before the Tribulation period begins, the Bible clearly teaches that an event called the Rapture will take place. To make a simple analogy, if you go the store in the fall and see Christmas decorations everywhere, you know that Christmas is near. Similarly, as Christians are seeing so many signs of the Tribulation period setting up in our world today, we know that the Tribulation is also near.

What is the Rapture of the Church?

The Rapture of the church is an event that takes place just prior to the start of the 7 year Tribulation period whereby Christians, who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, will be Raptured, or caught up, into Heaven, to forever be with the Lord. While the Bible has many references to being caught up into Heaven, the most commonly referenced scripture is in 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God also tells us in the following two verses that he will keep us from the hour of Tribulation, and wrath, that is coming to the earth.

Revelation 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of Tribulation, which shall come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

I Thessalonians 5:9

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Timeline of the Bible

For those not familiar with Bible prophecy, let’s start by looking at a super basic timeline of the Bible. It spans 7,000 years total starting with the creation of Adam. There was 4,000 years before the Cross, 2,000 years after the cross (until Christ’s 2nd coming), and lastly, a coming Millennial Kingdom which will last exactly 1,000 years whereby Christ will rule and reign on this earth. Currently, we are nearing the end of the 2,000 year Church Age as we can clearly see many prophecies being setup and/or fulfilled as the 7 Year Tribulation Period is soon to start.

The Number 7

As a preface to reading more of this email, I want to point out the significance of the number 7 as you will be seeing it referenced many times going forward. In scripture, the number 7 symbolizes completion or perfection. You’re likely already noticing how God has a 7,000 year timeline for man, a 7 year tribulation period, etc… The number 7 is referenced endlessly throughout the Bible from Genesis (with the 7 days of creation) to the Book of Revelation with the 7 churches, the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, the 7 bowls, the 7 angels, etc… There are actually more than 50 references to the number 7 in the book of Revelation alone. As such, pay special attention each time you see a number 7 going forward.

What is the Tribulation?

Overview

The Tribulation is an appointed, seven-year period of time on earth in which God takes out his wrath on an unbelieving world for those who have not yet placed their trust in Christ, as their Savior, to forgive them of their sins, and to have eternal life. During these seven years, God has declared that he will bring a time of hardship, persecution, disasters, famine, war, pain, and suffering to affect all his creation such that every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. For those who are able to miraculously survive the full Tribulation period, and yet still refuse to accept Christ as their Savior, they will ultimately be rounded up by angels and put to death when Christ returns to the planet at his second coming. Even though these will be perilous times, millions will still come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, but they will have to give their life, and be martyred for their faith, to pay for their sins. These persons will be known as the Tribulation saints, and will take part in the 1st Resurrection. This is in very sharp contrast to the current Church Age that we’re in (also called the “Age of Grace”), whereby Christ gave his life to pay for your sins. One simply needs to place their trust in what Christ did at the Cross, via his death, burial and resurrection, to be saved and to receive His free gift of eternal life.

As a side note, for those not aware, the word “Tribulation” actually comes from the root word “Tribulum.” A tribulum is an ancient agricultural sledge with sharp teeth dragged over harvested grain stalks to separate the edible grain kernels from the straw and chaff. The process itself is harsh, violent, and crushing which accurately describes the intense distress and testing that is soon coming upon the world.

What starts the Tribulation?

So how can we know that that we are getting close to the Tribulation period? Does the Bible mention signs of how it starts and what it will be like? The simple answer is yes! The book of Daniel (9:27) tells us that He (the Antichrist) will confirm a covenant with many for one week (meaning 7 years). Most Biblical scholars see this prophecy as a peace agreement that will take place between Israel and their many neighbors, for a period of 7 years, to bring about peace and economic prosperity in the region, and will be the official start of Daniel's 70^th week. It’s important to note that this covenant will be “confirmed,” meaning that it already exists (similar to when one confirms an already existing doctor’s appointment). Interestingly, Merriam-Webster defines confirm as to “strengthen” or to “make firmer,” meaning that an already existing covenant will be made stronger or more firm. As for the one who confirms this covenant, the Bible calls this person the Antichrist. He is the one who initially rises to power as a figure of peace, but then, through deception and force, will establish a tyrannical reign, and ultimately declare himself to be God when he enters the 3rd Jewish Temple, at exactly the halfway point of the Tribulation. Currently, the Abrahamic Accords is the only covenant or agreement that could be strengthened, or made firmer, between Israel and its neighbors. Originally started under Trump’s first administration, the need to strengthen these Accords for peace and security in the Middle East has never been more important as Iran, and its proxies, continue to be at war with Israel, with no end in sight.

The Tribulation Economy

Now that we know the confirming of a seven-year peace covenant begins the Tribulation period, let’s now take a look at the type of political and economic system that will exist. In a very simplified context, the Bible describes a world that will ultimately end up under the control of a single person, called the Antichrist, who will rule and reign over a world that is divided into seven regions. Originally it will be ten regions, but then he (the Antichrist) will subdue three of them, as he wages war against Christians. The Antichrist will cause all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. No one will be able to buy or sell except for the ones who have this mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name, which is 666. This means that those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church and enter the Tribulation period will be faced with an excruciating choice, to accept the mark of the Beast in order to survive, or to face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. The Bible also states in Revelation 14:9-11 that those who accept this mark will experience the wrath of God and be tormented in Hell forever. Most Christians today believe this mark will be a small dermal patch of some sorts, and in addition to tracking and verification abilities, it will contain an embedded array of tiny needles that can be applied to the skin like a Band-Aid, and will include a small amount of vaccine that will alter your God-given DNA to make you in the image of the Beast, vs the image of God. These small dermal patches to deliver a vaccine already exist today, and were created as a result of many who feared the more traditional needle approach during the Covid pandemic. As for 666 being the number of the Beast, could this simply be an 18 digit number (broken up into three sets of six digits each) whereby everyone on the planet is given their 18 digit number to buy, sell and to participate in the new Beast economy? I certainly won’t be here to find out!

It’s all about control

Having a mark on your body, whether “on” or “in” your skin, in order to buy or sell, obviously denotes a cashless, digital society. When Christians today see the rise of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC’s), artificial intelligence, data centers, biometrics, block chain technologies and quantum computing all advancing at record pace, we know the Tribulation is getting very close as these are the technologies that will be used by the Beast system to control the world during this 7-year period. For those not familiar with CBDC’s, they can be designed with programmable features to include specific rules and conditions for their use, such as restricting one from purchasing certain goods or services altogether, limiting the quantity of goods that one can purchase, or that the digital currency itself expires within a certain amount of time if not used. Most people are not even aware of these features. Were you? It’s also important to note that the technologies being created today, from Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI), which surpasses human intelligence, to the most advanced computer chips that can be implanted into the human brain and connected to satellites spanning the globe, are now beginning to surpass the technology that the Bible describes during the coming 7-year Tribulation. Technology has advanced to a level where man is now trying to “play God” and to improve upon his creation. The Bible does not describe a world where man is living side-by-side with its humanoid creation.

What Signs Point to 2026 as the Year of the Rapture?

Christians are very excited that the Rapture will take place this year as we are seeing all the signs we are told to look for, and all these signs are converging at the exact same time. But exactly how do we know that we are in the end days, just before Christ returns at his second coming? Let’s first look at some basic numeric calculations (based upon years) before we dive into the actual signs taking place in our world today.

Israel is now 78 Years Old in 2026

The Bible tells us that the Jews would return from all corners of the globe to be reborn as a nation again. This prophecy was fulfilled on May 14, 1948 when Israel was rebirthed as a nation after nearly 1,900 years. As of May 14, 2026 (this year), Israel concluded their 77th year since being reborn to start their 78th year. This transition concluded 11 full cycles of 7 years each to begin a new cycle of 7 years (the 12th cycle). The rebirth of Israel in 1948 was the mega-sign that the end day’s clock had started. The Bible also tells us that the generation that sees the rebirth of Israel would be the generation would be caught up in to Heaven (i.e. raptured) to never experience a physical human death.

Year 2033 Minus 7 Equals 2026

If we could pin point exactly when Christ died on the cross and resurrected, then we could simply add 2,000 years to determine when he will come again at his 2nd coming. The majority of Biblical historians today believe that Christ most likely died on the cross in 33 AD. If we add 2,000 years to this, we get 2033 AD. 2033 is exactly 7 years from 2026, and is the exact length of time needed for the coming 7 year Tribulation (yet future).

Current Events Taking Place that Point to the Coming Tribulation

( ISRAEL SPECIFIC EVENTS )

Keep in mind the following prophecies regarding Israel could not, and would not, even be taking place in our world today unless God restored them as a nation, which again was prophesized nearly 2,600 years ago. Also consider the statistical odds of all these prophecies taking place in our world today, and all converging and happening at the exact same time as the Bible told us would happen. Only God, and not man, could have known these things.

• Israel would be prospering in the last days after being restored as a nation. Today, Israel has a very powerful military, is a hub for high-tech companies, and is a large exporter of energy. (✔)
• The people groups surrounding Israel will come against them in the last days. The current Israeli war taking place is the fulfillment of Psalm 83, and started on Oct 7 of all days. (✔)
• Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone in the last days, as the people of the earth would be gathered against it. The U.N. is currently working on a plan for a two-state solution for Israel, dividing Jerusalem into east & west. (✔)
• Russia, Iran and Turkey would be aligned in the last days, and will ultimately come against Israel during the Tribulation period. (Ezekiel 38). We are watching this alliance of nations getting stronger by the day. (✔)
• Damascus, Syria will soon become uninhabitable, and turn into a ruinous heap (Isaiah 17:1). As Israel is continuously striking targets in and around Damascus daily for its protection, it’s only a matter of time till this prophecy is fulfilled. (✔)
• A third temple will be built in Israel after the rapture of the church. Currently, everything is in place to build it now, so we know we are very close to this being fulfilled. (✔)
• A red heifer without blemish (extremely rare) has to be sacrificed. According to Jewish tradition, as its ashes are needed for ritual purification of the coming third temple. This red heifer sacrifice took place in July of 2025. (✔)
• Hatred for the Jews will increase in the last days. So many anti-Israel rallies have taken place on college campuses, and worldwide, since the start of the Israeli war. (✔)

( WORLD EVENTS )

• Human knowledge would increase greatly just before the 2nd coming of Christ. Just think of how quickly AI, data centers, biometrics, digital currencies, block chain technologies and quantum computing are advancing as of late. These will all be used by the coming Anti-Christ during the Tribulation period to control the economy. (✔)
• Many will be saying “Peace and Security” in the last days, just before the coming destruction. These exact two words are constantly being mentioned by Trump himself (over the Iran conflict), his new Board of Peace and the United Nations. World leaders also came together in November of 2025 (in Egypt) to sign Trump’s historic 20-point peace deal to have ever-lasting “Peace and Security” in the Middle East region. (✔)
• The western region of Iran, called Elam, will suffer a severe blow in the last days. God states in Jeremiah 49:35 that “he will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.” Interestingly, this is the same area which Iran has its nuclear sites of which the U.S. bombed last June 2025 and again in early 2026. (✔)
• There will be great deception in the last days. This includes geoengineering of the weather, fake news, misinformation, disinformation, AI content that appears real, etc… (✔)
• A one-world, global political and economic system will be setting up. This includes the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Int’l Monetary Fund, World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, etc… (✔)
• The world will be characterized by lawlessness and violence. This includes global riots and unrest, protests, school shootings, etc… (✔)
• Many Christians will fall/turn away from their faith (ie. apostasy). (✔)
• Unbelievers will scoff at the idea of Christ’s return. (✔)
• Unbelievers will not understand the signs of the time, but the believers will. As unbelievers do not have spiritual discernment, nor read the Bible, they are unable to discern the times in which we are living. (✔)
• Earthquakes would increase in intensity and occur in diverse places Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions have increased greatly in recent years. (✔)
• There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars (i.e. solar and red moon eclipses, signs in constellations) (✔)
• There will be wars and rumors of wars (i.e. Russia/Ukraine, Israeli-Palestinian War, U.S./Iran War, etc…) (✔)
• There will be famine and pestilences (i.e. Covid, Monkeypox, Birdflu, Ebola, etc…) (✔)

As a side note, for those not familiar with the Bible, nearly one-third of it is prophetic in nature. God tells us everything in advance such that when we see certain events taking place (throughout time), that we know that He is real.

But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.

“Peace & Safety” Then Sudden Destruction

The Apostle Paul, in I Thessalonians 5 tells us that we, as believers, are children of the light, and would be able to discern the times in which we are living to know that the Day of the Lord (ie The Tribulation Period) will come upon the whole world, like a thief in the night, while the world is saying “Peace and Security.” But we, who are of the light, are not appointed to the coming wrath, as we are appointed to salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-8

1. But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
2. For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
3. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
4. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
6. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
7. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
8. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

As this prophecy was written nearly 2,000 years ago, it’s amazing how the world is saying the exact two words of “Peace and Security” today, in the same exact order as Paul stated, specifically over Israel and the Middle East conflict. Whether it be the United Nations, the new Board of Peace or Trump himself, “Peace and Security” is the shared terminology by all in their efforts to establish lasting peace in the Middle East.

Signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars

Let’s now take a look at how God provides signs to his believers in the sun, moon and stars. God tells us in the book of Genesis (1:14) that he created the sun, the moon and the stars for signs, for seasons, for days, and for years. Notice the first reference was for “signs” which is important to mention. Now let’s take a closer look at the solar eclipses that passed over America in 2017 and 2024, to better understand (what Christians believe) the “signs” which God was telling his believers.

Solar Eclipse of 2017

Let’s first start with the solar eclipse of 2017. Believers noticed that the eclipse passed over 7 cities in the U.S. named Salem. These are denoted by the white circles in the 2017 eclipse path (see diagram below) and include Salem, Oregon, Salem, Idaho, Salem, Wyoming, Salem, Nebraska, Salem, Missouri, Salem, Kentucky and Salem, South Carolina. What you may not know is that Salem means “peace” in Hebrew and is short for Jerusalem, the “city of peace.”

Solar Eclipse of 2024

Seven years later, in 2024, another solar eclipse occurred over America again, but this time it took a different path of totality, which allowed it to have an interesting point to the 2017 eclipse. This intersecting point occurred over a region in Southern Illinois called “Little Egypt,” named after the large Indian burial mounds which resemble the pyramids of Egypt. Right near the intersection point is the small town of Rapture, Indiana and is the only town in America with this name. Believers also noted that the totality path for the 2024 eclipse would pass over Jonah, Texas before passing over several U.S. cities which share the same name of Nineveh. Also interesting to note is that a replica of Noah’s Ark (called the Ark Encounter) is not that far from the intersection point in western Kentucky.

Interpreting the Signs

Let’s now take a deeper look into the meaning of the signs from the 2024 eclipse. In scripture, when believers think of Egypt, we instantly think of the "exodus" or "departure" of the Jews as God freed his people from the slavery of Pharaoh. As such, we see this as a sign that our “departure” is also near. When believers see Rapture, IN, right next to the intersection point, we instantly think of the coming Rapture (or harpazo in Greek) that we know this is the next event on God’s timeline. When we see Jonah , Texas and several cities named Nineveh in the eclipse’s path, we instantly think of how God commanded Jonah to warn the people of Nineveh of the coming destruction unless they repented from their sins. Correspondingly, we see these city names as a typology of the coming destruction that will take place during the 7 year tribulation (as the world is not repenting nor turning to God). Also, the fact that a life-size replica of Noah’s Ark is also near the intersection point is very interesting as Christ said that the world would be just like “the days of Noah” just before the flood came and destroyed the wicked of the earth. The Days of Noah are described as people being lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, disobedient to parents, unholy, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

Another important observation is that the number of days between the Aug 21, 2017 eclipse and the April 8, 2024 eclipse was exactly 6 years, 6 months, 6 weeks and 6 days. In scripture, we know that the number 6 is correlated to man, evil and sin. During the coming tribulation period here on earth, the man of sin, also known as the Anti-Christ, will quickly rise up and his number will be 666 (Rev 13: 16 – 18). As such, we see all these 6’s a sign of the coming tribulation to come.

The Sign of Jonah

Lastly, I want to mention Matthew 12:39 where Christ was speaking to a crowd of Scribes and Pharisees (Hebrew scholars and religious leaders) as they desired for a sign that Christ is who he claims to be. He replied and said unto them “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.” This clearly speaks to the recent 2024 eclipse and the typology which Jonah and Nineveh represent before the coming destruction. Specifically, as the 2024 eclipse passed over Jonah, TX before passing over multiple U.S. cities named Nineveh, most believers see this as the “Sign of Jonah” which Christ said he would give to the evil and adulterous generation.

More Incredible Day Counts Which Believers Saw

In addition to the 6 years, 6 months, 6 weeks and 6 days between the two eclipses as mentioned above, there were many more signs which God revealed to believers to let them know that the Church Age is coming an end and that the rapture is near. I've included several of these in the graphic below but keep in mind there were many more! It's important to note that these day counts occurred between Jewish feast days, the start of the Israeli War and celestial events which again, God provides as signs to believers.

The number of days in between these events also has special meaning. Additionally, the repetition of these numbers reinforces their meaning. Below is what each number means in the Bible.

• 6 in the Bible refers to man, evil and sin.
• 7 in the Bible refers to divine perfection and completion.
• 8 in the Bible refers to new beginnings or new life.
• 726 is the Strong's Concordance number for Harpazo (View here). Harpazo in English means "to seize, snatch, or take away by force." (ie Rapture).
• 153 refers to the passage in John 21:11 where Jesus disciples caught a "harvest" of 153 fish after Christ appeared to them and told them to cast their net, after an unsuccessful night of not catching any fish.

Joel 2:31 | A Closer Look...

Joel 2:31 states "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood (in that exact order), before the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord." For those familiar with their Bible, the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord begins at the Tribulation start and lasts through the end of the coming Millennial Kingdom. As such, these are obvious celestial markers that God has given to believers to let them know the Tribulation period is getting close. But wait, there's more!

Why Israel and the Jewish People?

In reading this, you’re likely noticing that everything in the Bible is related to Israel, the Jewish people, the Jewish Feasts, their harvest cycles, their restoration as a nation, etc… But why does so much of Bible prophecy surround the tiny nation of Israel, roughly the size of New Jersey? The answer is simple. It was all part of God’s plan. In the beginning, God started with a single man, Abraham, of which he built a powerful nation with. In Genesis 12:2-3, God told Abraham, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” This is known as the Abrahamic Covenant. And as the ultimate mark of His blessing, God chose to bring forth his Messiah through the lineage of his people. In John 4:42, the Bible makes it very clear that Christ, his Jewish Messiah, is also the Savior for the entire world. This is why Israel is the time clock for Bible prophecy. God told us that he would restore Israel to become a powerful nation in the last days, and that Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone to all, and that all nations would gather against it. As we are getting very close to the world implementing a two-state solution for Israel, which will officially split Jerusalem in half (into West Jerusalem and East Jerusalem), we can clearly see that God is setting the stage for the seven year Tribulation and his second coming via all the signs and events we are told to look for (exactly 77 full years after Israel was restored).

The World Has Come Against Israel

As of Sept 2025, 157 of the 193 United Nations member states, representing 81.3% of all nations, have now openly declared their support for a Palestinian State. Let that sink in! This means that 81.3% of all nations on this earth believe that God’s land of Israel, and its capital city of Jerusalem, should be divided, whereby Jews and Palestinians live side-by-side in a two-state solution in order to achieve peace & security. Any nation that supports a Palestinian State is clearly against the Jewish people and their God. Zechariah 12:3 tells us this would happen in the last days.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

International recognition of Palestine

God Placed His Name on His City

In scripture, God refers to Israel as “His people” (Deuteronomy 7:6); His “treasured possession” (Psalm 135:4), and even the “apple of His eye” (Zechariah 2:8). But did you also know that God has placed his name on his holy city of Jerusalem itself? The Hebrew letter of “Shin” (pictured below) represents God's name and character. The Shin character looks similar to a “W” in the English alphabet. This Shin letter forms the three valleys surrounding Jerusalem: the Hinnom Valley, Tyropoeon Valley, and the Kidron Valley. As such, when you see so much anti-Semitism, hostility and prejudice against the Jewish people today, and the desire two divide their land and their capital city of Jerusalem, they are literally expressing their hatred of God.

But What About Trump, and America’s Golden Age?

Before we get into Trump’s 2nd term as President, and how his actions continue to fulfill Bible prophecy, let’s take a step back and look at his 1st term. When Christians first discovered the following associations regarding Trump, Israel and the number 7, they quickly realized that God had a purpose and a plan for him, and that he would most likely win the election. As previously mentioned above, the number 7 symbolizes perfection and completion in the Bible. With this in mind, let’s now look at the following dates, and the number of 7’s, that were represented between them. The statistical odds of all these dates occurring exactly as they did can only be attributed to a divine God.

• Israel was 77 days old (Jul 20, 1948), exactly 777 days after Donald Trump was born (Jun 14, 1946).
• Israel’s 70^th birthday (May 14, 2018), was exactly 700 days after Trump’s 70^th birthday (Jun 14, 2016).
• Trump won his 1st election on Nov 8, 2016, which was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s 7^th year, 7^th month and 7^th day in office (his 2nd term as Prime Minister).
• Donald Trump turned 70 years, 7 months and 7 days old on his first day as President (Jan 21, 2017). This was year 5777 on the Hebrew calendar.

During Trump’s first term, he was a champion for Israel as he strengthened ties with Netanyahu, declared Jerusalem as its eternal capital, as well as established the historic Abrahamic Accords, which brought peace and normalization between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco. For those who know their Bible well, these accords had to be established for what will now (most likely) take place during his second term. As we are getting very close to the start of the Tribulation period, for all the reasons mentioned herein, we know that a covenant with many will be confirmed (ie. strengthened, or made firmer) for a period of seven years. As we’re now in Trump’s 2nd term, many other Arab and Muslim nations such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Indonesia, and others are rumored to soon join these accords, but want to see a Palestinian state recognized first before joining. This is definitely something to keep an eye on going forward.

Most Christians believe that God brought Trump back into office to fulfill his plan as Daniel 2:21 states that God has the power to setup and to remove kings (i.e. rulers). Regarding this, it’s very interesting to note that the meaning of the name Donald is ironically “world ruler.” A simple Google search will show you this.

Lastly, don’t be distracted from the word of God when you see all the noise taking place in our world today (ie. politics, elections, trade wars, etc…) These are all distractions and part of the last days deception. In Matthew 24:44, Christ, while talking to his disciples on the Mount of Olives regarding his second coming, and the events leading up to it (often referred to as the Olivet Discourse), said that he will come back at an hour that you least expect, and to always be ready. As America is not mentioned in Bible prophecy, the believer needs to keep their eyes focused on Israel (specifically Jerusalem and the temple mount), as this is God’s timepiece regarding the last days.

What Does this all Mean?

The bottom line is that the world is racing towards the 7 Year Tribulation period, as we can clearly see all the signs that we are told to look for, and you will soon be going through it unless you accept Christ as your Savior by believing in his finished work at the Cross. The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23) and that sin separates us from God for all eternity. The Bible also tells us that we are saved through faith in Christ, and not of our works, lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8-9). When you place your trust in Christ, and believe in his finished work at the Cross, your sins are forgiven, once and for all, and you become a new creation in Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and will be called up in the Rapture, to forever be with the Lord. It’s also important to note that God gives us free will for the choices we make (Mark 8:34, Deut 30:19). While God is sovereign, individuals are still responsible for the choices they make, and he hopes that all would come to a saving knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:9).
